New VerTex1000 From Formax Transforms The Industry With Its Versatility And Texture.
Innovative and powerful! The VerTex1000 forming system from Formax redefines what is possible with a revolutionary new design. Built from the ground up, VerTex1000 couples the industry's largest capacity with state-of-the-art technology to make innovation count. Superior versatility. Natural texture. A low cost of ownership.
The power behind VerTex1000 begins with proven AccuPump technology, a servo-driven dual lobe pump that protects the natural structure of the product. This technology, exclusive to Provisur®, promotes consistency, reduces maintenance and prevents product overworking by keeping product movement under the operator's control. The VerTex1000's direct drive servo system is also enhanced by AccuPump technology and its ability to ensure accurate fills at drum speeds up to 30 RPM and fill rates up to 18,000 lbs (8180 kg) per hour. It all makes lower ownership costs possible via line consolidations, lower maintenance, reduced energy costs and labor requirements.
VerTex1000's low maintenance rotary drum design adds even more to the processor's ability to drive costs down. Formax utilizes materials similar to those used on the slide plate forming systems, providing significant savings versus sintered metal forming drums. This VerTex1000 advantage eliminates requirements for special chemicals and expensive cleaning stations. Plus there's no downtime due to the long cleaning cycles required by the sintered materials.
Proven, repeatable product placement is one of the key benefits of the VerTex1000's rotary servo knock-out drive system. This extra measure of reliability is exclusive to the Formax brand. The servo knock-out eliminates troublesome release issues, caused by plugged drums, without the capital expenses of high volume air compressors. Portions can be as thin as .200" (5mm) and as thick as .750" (19mm) with front to back dimension of up to 6.00" (152.4mm) – providing more versatility across the width of your products thick and thin.
Best of all, the VerTex1000 system offers the capability to produce high quality, value-added products with Formax's popular Tender-Form®, Port-Fill® and Verti-Form filling systems and contoured True-Sculpt tooling. This makes VerTex1000 ideal for hamburgers, soy burgers, chicken nuggets, schnitzels and natural-looking whole muscle products, including chicken fillets, chicken selects, tenderloins, steaks and fish.
Formax's leadership on the production floor is also carried through with state-of-the-art electronics. So there's a next generation 15" (380mm) touch screen interface that is as advanced as it is easy to use. It provides a choice of production and diagnostic screens in multiple languages and even allows for adjustments on the run. For food safety, a pivoting clean-in-place product hopper provides the convenience customers have come to expect. Unibody construction provides for superior hygiene and removable feed screws allow for easy cleaning – maximizing changeover versatility.
