Provisur® Technologies Announces New Leadership Team for its Business in Asia/Pacific

CHICAGO, Illinois – As Provisur® Technologies, Inc. expands its footprint in the fastest-growing regions in the world it is adding vital resources to serve its growing customer base.

Provisur, a leading global provider of high performance food processing equipment, has promoted Bert Jan Hardenbol to Executive Vice President of the company’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (AP) units. 

Provisur also announces the appointment of Paul Heskens as Vice President, Asia Pacific Unit. Prior to joining Provisur, Heskens served as Director of Sales in the Far East Region for IAC Acoustics and, before that, head of sales for the APAC region at GEA Food Solutions. A native of the Netherlands and a resident of Shanghai since 2007, Heskens will be based in that city and will report directly to Hardenbol. Heskens replaces the departing Andy MacLeod, who is retiring on May 31. A Provisur veteran, MacLeod served in numerous roles but most recently as Vice President of the Asia Pacific Region, where he accelerated growth at a time of increased demand for prepared and value-added food products.

Rounding out the Asia Pacific leadership team is Silva Kumar, Engineered Systems and Service Manager for the Asia Pacific Unit. A native of Malaysia who is now based in Thailand, Kumar manages and provides strategic leadership for the Asia Pacific organization's execution of engineered systems and is responsible for following up on service support for all Provisur installations. Previously, Kumar was with Keystone Foods where he was most recently Deputy Director for Production and Corporate Social Responsibility Lead for that organization’s business in Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa.
