As the situation with the COVID-19 virus continues to develop, Provisur Technologies remains committed to the safety and well-being of our employees while we continue to work hard to minimize any potential impact to our customers. These are unprecedented times and we want to assure you that we are by your side to support your operations and your customers.  We recognize that many of you are working around the clock to ensure continuity of our food supply.

Our International COVID-19 Task Force is meeting daily to assess contingency plans and stay on top of the rapidly developing situation.  We are monitoring official health related information, primarily from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and have developed guidance on employee travel based on their risk assessments as well as emerging government regulations.

At this point, our production facilities and parts warehouses remain operational and are continuing to ship equipment and spare parts to our customers globally.  From a service standpoint, increasing restrictions are limiting travel.  However, we are taking the following steps to minimize impact on customers:

  • Our Technical Service telephone support will continue to be available as usual.
  • Our Service Technicians (EMT’S) will be able to travel by vehicle within their home countries for critical service needs.  While we are restricting air travel and international travel, we do have service technicians or service partners based in most countries where we do business.
  • We are leveraging a range of technology that will enable our technicians to remotely troubleshoot and guide your maintenance staff through most service related issues.  This includes our new, State-of-the-Art, Virtual Technician Program (VTech®) that is being rolled out in North America and select locations and product lines globally.  While this program is still in Beta testing, we have decided to accelerate its launch.  VTech®, when fully launched will be a subscription based service, however, Provisur will temporarily be providing a version of this service free of charge to support our customers during this period of crisis.
