PowerMax Slicing Systems Help Processors Boost Accuracy and Speed with Lower Ownership Costs

The continual drive for speed and accuracy in slicing has resulted in the PowerMax Slicing Systems from Formax designed with independent product drives, generous throat sizes and loading options that help processors maximize yield, minimize giveaway, increase slicing flexibility and reduce product handling.

Formax’s independent drive technology allows for greater overall slice quality and portion control, regardless of variation in log sizes and lengths. Additionally, Formax Blade Technology increases yields up to two percent and offers further cost-savings in its ability to reduce or eliminate crust freezing requirements and extend blade life.

Processors can choose the system that meets their product and operational needs. The PowerMax4000 offers an 8” x 18.5” slicing throat with up to four independent drives, scales and classifiers making it capable of slicing four-up 4” x 6” product in the stand up position. The mid-sized PowerMax3000 offers a 6” x 15” slicing throat, up to three independent drives, scales and classifiers and a quick reload center rear loading design.

PowerMax Slicing Systems also give processors greater power over safety and sanitation. The PowerMax4000 and PowerMax3000 offer clean-up modes along with a safety laser scanning system that simplifies machine washdowns by minimizing the number of mechanical guards to be removed for machine cleaning.

An optional loading system is available for each model. The Exclusive Formax PowerLoader technology further enhances food safety and product presentations by making it possible to slice, convey, stage and load exact weight stacks, drafts or shaved bunches from the slicer to any packaging machine. The PowerLoader minimizes product handling, extends shelf life and protects the quality image of a brand. Formax Loading Systems can be configured to match any packaging arrangement.
