Companies within the Fortifi Food Processing Solutions (“Fortifi”) unified platform of leading global brands will highlight innovations for seafood protein processors in booth #565 at Seafood Expo North America 2026 from March 15-17 in Boston, Mass. Representatives from Area52, Nothum, Provisur and REICH will demonstrate shellfish processing, batter and breading, separation, thermal processing, and smoking and drying.
For shellfish processing, Area52 will present Split-N-Wash, its patented automatic solution with integrated internal product washing. This PLC-controlled process offers recipe-driven HMI protocols for internal characterization. The system works with raw, cooked, blanched or frozen product with or without claws.
Nothum will feature batter and breading solutions including the SuperFlex four-in-one breading machine for consistent yields with flat, drum, tripleflip and handtoss modes. Its versatility enables processors to replace multiple machines with one efficient producer and achieve changeover in minutes. Additionally, Nothum will show the Bettcher Automated Coating System (ACS), which scales formerly hand-crafted products without sacrificing breading freshness or control. The machine increases output speed and productivity without ingredient waste or loss of flavor.
Attendees will experience Provisur’s STS Belt Separator, which maintains fiber integrity and structure with low temperature rise while it removes bone fragments and cartilage from fish and seafood. The unit’s simple operation includes patented automatic pressure control and easy HMI-designed onscreen storage of product recipes.
REICH will present the REICH AIRMASTER® UKQ AIRJET setting the benchmark for the thermal treatment and refinement of laying fish, delivering perfectly controlled, horizonal airflow for exceptionally uniform results. This precision ensures consistent product quality, maximized yield, and increased profitability in modern fish processing. REICH also will spotlight the secure REICH BLUECONNECT system, with remote real-time access to all relevant processing-machine and production data for optimized equipment maintenance, integrated predictive monitoring and intelligent machine connectivity without local data storage.
